DSTA’s SANTA CRUZ VMS’s are very similar to our intercity solutions, however they have been especially designed for urban environments. The SANTA CRUZ VMS, which meets the latest international standards, informs vehicles via real time information on the traffic levels, recommended speed limits and the adverse climate conditions or expected time of arrivals.

• Combines an alphanumerical and graphical (Full color RGB) area, with greater viewing angles, in order to facilitate drivers legibility in roundabouts, or streets with limited visibility.
• “Banderola” (Spanish for “flag”) support structure can also be included, in order to facilitate the VMS’s city integration and remove the heavy, unattractive and oversized support structures you find in highways.
• In accordance with EN12966 standards and the highest degree of optical, mechanical and electronic qualifications.
• Compatibility with traffic control systems (ERU - traffic systems used by the Spanish traffic control agency)
• Compatible with DSTA software Content Manager, intuitive and easy to use. Messages can be easily modified to adjust to traffic needs. They can display pre-loaded messages such as time or temperature.
• Remote controlled updates.
• RS232/422/485/Ethernet/GPRS/WIFI connectivity
• Optional extras are available such as fog, rain, ice and wind detection systems.
